The Stone that killed the Giant

it was a nightmare

So i was laying in bed and it was about 5 in the morning and i was dreaming about being out on a cattle ranch where we had some cows. This was a new pasture that i had not been to before and we had about 40 or so cows out there the boss wanted me to mow the grass and to get a good look at the new pasture. It started out that i was on the bottom tear of the pasture where there were a couple of barns and some old wooden fences that created an old style coral, with lots of green grass. The grass was so green and lushes i remember thinking that this place looked like a great place to run some cattle for a while. I got right to mowing the grass at the bottom of the hill near the corals and then i moved around them to the right and started to climb the hill to the greater pasture where all the cows were grazing. As i went up the hill it became much steeper then i originally thought it to be and the mower had a hard climbing it but there was what seemed to a giant sand bunker like you would see on a golf course next to the lushes green grass so i directed the mower over that way thinking i could get up the hill without the grass bogging me down or slowing down my momentum but as soon as i got into the sand i could feel the sand was very soft and so i tried to race up the hill while going through the sand as fast as the mower would allow me. i was about half way through the sand bunker and thats where i got stuck and could longer move forward and of course i tried to go backwards and then forward and then backwards and then forward but it was to no avail and i just kept getting more and more buried until there was no going anywhere. My first thought was the boss is going to mad about this and i was going to have to tell him about it because i was going to need his help to get out. i got out of the mower and stepped onto the sand and the first thing i noticed was just how soft the sand was as my foot sunk into the sand up to about my knee and with the second step things did not get any better and then the sand all began to loosen up right under my feet and big cracks in the sand began to open up as well and it all seemed to be covering up a giant hole and with me walking over it the sand started falling into the hole. i looked with great panic in my heart for a foothold or a place to place my foot where i could jump to or get out of the sand but it seemed hopeless. the more i tried to move the more the sand fell apart and the wider the cracks got. the mower was now swallowed up the sand and i could not see anything but the very top of the mower as it went into the sand never to be seen again. The edge of the sand where the grass was right there just a few feet away but without any stable place to set my foot i could not do anything or jump out from where i was. i grabbed hold of the a sand pile of sorts and it gave way and now i was about chest deep int he sand standing on my tippy toes gasping for air as i was breathing very heavily from being so filled with anxiety and fear that was i about to buried alive and there was no one to help me. i could not yell or scream for help i was just being swallowed up by this big sand pit and there was nothing i could to get out of it i remember being filled with panic at this point i am now covered in sand and i am up to my neck but thanks to be God i woke up and it was just a dream. Woe... Make sure you are building your house on the "ROCK" Jesus being that rock. Hearing His word and then putting it to practice is the person who has placed their life on the "ROCK". but for those the hear the word and then don't practice it are the people who build there house on the sand. its a place of hopelessness and there is no escape from it. Your works wont save you and outside of Jesus there is no one to turn to. its not a good place to be and its not a safe place either. it was a nightmare..
