i wanted to reach out to say good morning.. i am not sure what i am going to do today. It's the big thanksgiving holiday.. Nothing more holy than a good meal shared with those you love while offering thanks to the one and only God who is the Father sitting at the head of our tables. We are going to be having some pheasant with lots of other things as well.. My son is here with his girl-friend and my sister is here with her husband and daughter and then there is my mom and dad they too are here. i wanted to head off to go hunting this morning with my son as he is planning to leave tomorrow morning. i am kind of upset that he is leaving like that but there is nothing i can do about it. A hard lesson to learn in life is learning to let go of the people who make you most happy. It's hard for me at times to let go and to let Our Father be in control. i can never make anyone do anything they dont already want to do or not do.. No matter how much i care for a person they are still free to do whatever they want. The more i am confronted with that reality the more i feel like i can understand what's going on inside the heart of Our Savior.
It's not about being rejected its more about finding peace in letting go of the things or people that you care most about. i think for people on earth the things they care most about are their sins and that's why they cannot let go of them.. Our Father who created all things seen and unseen also created love to be known, so that we would understand the giving away of Jesus. God gave Jesus away. He had to let Him go and yet God was well pleased in the behavior and life of Christ. Jesus is the essence behind the truth that lives within the heart of God. His love for this world.. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son so that whomsoever would believe on Him would not perish but would have eternal life. For those who refuse to believe, are still being punished because they have not believed in the love of God that came to the world through Jesus Our Christ. They have no life within them, they are dead, and void of the truth. The devil has blinded them so that they cannot see the truth and then be saved. SO we see Jesus said and acknowledges the fact the devil has been at work here on earth blinding people from being able to see what love really is. It's not so much about the fact they are rejecting Jesus out of spite or hatred instead it's about the work of the devil and we know Jesus came into the world to put an end to the devil's work. We all live through the life of Jesus. God gave to the devil His greatest love and the devil destroyed it by hanging Jesus on the cross after publicly humiliating Him while beating Him half to death. Who walked away from cross? Barabbas His name means "son of the father" i believe the devil was his father. he was rioter a murderer and a really bad person yet walk away freely from the grips of death that held so many people to the Roman crosses. The devil cannot say God did not love him or his children. The only thing the devil can do is to try and make you believe he is God by getting you to question God's word. The word of God is absolute love and His love is so strong He is will to let us go without complaining about it. His love is so great it is a gift given to us while we were living in sin Jesus died for us. God can command us to do something yet we are the only things in creation that have the will to say NO! i dont want to do that.. Nothing else in creation has that power. But i think God designed it that way for a reason.. His love is a gift, something given to us through His own WILL. So no person can boast God loves me more than you because i did this or that.. Its a gift given to a people who said i dont need nor want it, it has no value in my life. God was not seeking for approval validation, instead He was sharing with us the depths of His love, His eternal riches and Glory that came through a sacrificial act of giving.. We willbe talking about thanksgiving all day today.. But what are we thankful for? The food we have to eat, the water we drink, the families we have to share it with, the abundance of the harvest, the possession we have accumulated, or are we thankful for the life we have been given, because in this life we had the chance to know Jesus and in knowing Him we found the truth behind Gods love. It's an eternal gift given to a people who are not thankful.. A gift given to a people who cannot see the value of what love really is.. God so loved you my beloved friend, that He gave to you His one and only son so that you could know just how much He loved you. Heaven knows your name because of what Jesus did the hosts of Heaven proclaim the love of God for you and that will never end..
